– News from the African Travel Community

In my last article I presented PanAfrica to you. I am pleased to report that since then the website has grown in appeal. Boosted with this motivation we at COMPASS are working at full speed on the continuous progress of the website.

The newest feature is the interactive Forum on

Here each visitor has the chance to get in contact not only with other interested travelers but also

PanAfrica Mitglieder

to get in touch with and direct responses from the experienced local professionals.
For the members, this means that they will be notified as soon as a new question regarding the countries in which they are represented comes up and they will have the opportunity to respond directly. In this way, information from the locals is combined on the site along with the experiences of other travelers!

Both the numbers of German interested travelers, as well as the membership numbers, increase constantly on PanAfrica. The number of visitors has tripled since the beginning of the year and we already count 15,000 visitors per month! Our members are already distributed across the continent. From South Africa to Egypt and Morocco in the North, Cape Verde – beautiful Islands in the Atlantic – across the continent to Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. In addition to African Tour Operators, Hotels and Tourism Boards, German tour operators are also represented. Use PanAfrica to present your Company to potential customers combined with comprehensive information and tourist services. PanAfrica also offers you exclusive contacts with African tourism companies.

So far, Africa is still not on the priority list of German travelers – but the potential is there to come

all the way to the top!
Many Germans have a special interest in travel and tourism and also have an excellent purchasing power. Therefore, Germany is a highly interesting source market for the African vendors and of course for German tour operators and their offers.

PanAfrica also offers companies the possibility of special offers on the website to market their products and thereby address an Africa-oriented target group.
