My internship with COMPASS

During my internship at COMPASS I have the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge from university in the real business world. Many exciting projects at COMPASS have given me the opportunity to get an insight into different thematic areas of tourism already.

Currently I am working together with the project team for PanAfrica. PanAfrica is the information platform for travelers and the travel community for the tourism sector in Africa. I am heavily involved in the development of the new website and one of my tasks, in addition to the content, is the design and layout of the website. I have gladly accepted the new challenges presented to me, for example in the field of website programming. Therefore the COMPASS team supports me with advice and assistance with technical questions.

The new portal offers travelers interested in Africa the opportunity to inform themselves about the individual countries and travel opportunities and to find exactly the right contact person for their unique travel experience. Particularly the focus is on the networking between tourism companies in Africa and German companies that focus on the African travel market. The goal of PanAfrica is the better positioning of Africa as a destination within German markets.
